Trail
This trail needs coordinates
To show a forecast and map, the trail in Notion needs the latitude and longitude of its trailhead.
- On a computer, open Google Maps and find the trailhead parking or start point.
- Right-click the exact spot. The first line of the menu is the coordinates, for example
45.5689, -78.5167. Click that line to copy it. (On a phone: press and hold the spot, then copy the numbers from the search box.) - In Notion, open the trail and paste the first number into Latitude and the second number (keep the minus sign) into Longitude.
- Tap Forecast & map on the trail again.
Latitude is between −90 and 90; longitude is between −180 and 180. West of Greenwich (all of North America) longitude is negative.
